About the Contract Member Marketing Designer at Headspace:

The Member Growth team at Headspace focuses on improving the health and happiness of the world by educating and connecting people to the mental health support they need.

We're looking for a creative and organized designer to fill a ~4 month contract position who can help support in both creative and administrative tasks associated with member content. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Client Executive team and Member Growth content lead to move quickly on design requests.

This role requires agility, strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and exceptional organization.

This is a ~3-4month contract position (through the end of January 2025), 40hours/week.

What you will do:

• Design and adapt member-facing creative assets: Convert Figma files into InDesign to meet project and/or client requirements, using existing templates to create new communication assets that align with brand guidelines and Headspace’s design best practices.
• Support other design requests as needed: Assist with additional design tasks and requests to meet various project requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide project management: Learn and understand internal processes, such as translations and uploading content to Highspot, to ensure end-to-end project management
• Oversee asset management tool and documentation: Manage the Highspot asset management tool, including but not limited to building pages, file naming, asset uploads, and general organization for easier sharing. Create and update internal documentation to map processes and operational updates.
• Adapt to team needs and priorities: Be flexible and willing to adjust work based on the evolving needs of the team to support overall objectives and project success.
• Collaborate and communicate transparently: Communicate effectively with cross functional team members to understand their creative vision, incorporate feedback, and keep everyone updated on design progress.

What you will bring:

• Has formal design training and possess a strong portfolio with engaging and diverse work
• Regularly communicate and provide progress updates to keep team informed
• High level of attention to detail is crucial due to the repetitive nature of the role
• Ability to adapt and work within a team setting to achieve project goals
• Strong collaborative skills in working with team members on design tasks
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and planning skills
• Experience with project management tools like Asana, Monday, etc. are a plus
• Action-oriented with a focus on continuous process improvement with the end user in mind
