React Developer

As a React Developer on the Digital Team within the Marketing Sales and Digital (MSD) Organization, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to design innovative solutions, develop cutting-edge features, and deploy high-performing, resilient systems using AWS cloud technology. You will play a pivotal role in envisioning, developing, and launching solutions that deliver unparalleled user experiences and transformative capabilities. Will also contribute to solution delivery through SDLC activities (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, support, etc.) for multiple features within a product and/or full scope of the product. Although acting with substantial autonomy, seeks input and approval from senior associates to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• You have minimum 3 years of software engineering best practices experience, including unit testing, conducting code reviews, and creating design documentation.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, specializing in React.js and its core concepts including JSX, event handling, local state management, and hooks. You're skilled in state management libraries like Flux or Redux, and adept in HTML/CSS, TypeScript, and REST APIs. Familiarity with build tools like linters, formatters and bundlers. Full Stack development with Java, Spring Boot, Data Modeling, and SQL is a plus but not essential. Next.js experience is also highly appreciated.
• You have a minimum 3 years of experience incorporating best practices related to APIs (OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT etc.) and excels at producing visually appealing designs focused on usability, utility, UX, cross-browser compatibility, performance. Work examples include ReactJS libraries and development tools such as Material UI, Vitest, and Storybook, as well as working from design applications such as Figma.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in DevOps practices using Terraform, Harness Code Pipelines and deploying in AWS EKS or similar cloud offering.
• Practical knowledge of other AWS services (e.g., AWS Gateway, Lambda, Aurora / Postgres, etc.) with AWS certifications are preferred

Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
