D aily Challenges

  • Provide technical support and leadership in a complex mission critical SAP environment
  • Provide day to day operations support and on-call support 7x24 on a rotational basis
  • Perform 2nd level support to all customers infrastructure and develop solutions to stabilize customer environments
  • Contribute to infrastructure projects and tasks, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge.
  • Use tools for remote management and alert monitoring
  • Responsible for incident / service call investigation, diagnosis, resolutions where possible or dispatching to the relevant higher-level support
  • Be involved in full cycle development, deployment to go-live
  • Forecast technology requirements based on client's needs
  • Provide SAP expertise in the customer engagement team
  • Develop, mature and ensure compliance of technology standards and solutions
  • Show eagerness to learn and grow in a technical role.
  • Develop foundational technical skills and knowledge.

e X perience and skills required

  • SAP basis administration experience (SAP Basis ABAP/JAVA), typically 2+ years
  • Knowledge & experience with databases administration: Oracle, MaxDB, MSSQL, DB2, HANA
  • Experience in Unix/ Linux system administration
  • Windows OS knowledge (basics of administration)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Basic knowledge of IP Services
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Customer and service orientation
  • Good communications skills
  • Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis
  • Fluent written and spoken English (German or other additional foreign language is advantage)

This will be considered as an advantage:

  • Experience in Backup environments and knowledge
  • Relevant certifications are a plus (Cloud, SAP, Linux, DB…)
