Java Software Developer - Risk

Position Summary

We are completely rebuilding the credit risk management processes and tools in EW group. We are integrating external vendor's credit risk tool. Therefore, we will need to develop new interfaces , adjust the existing microservices in EW Group and implement low-code configurations of the Risk tool on Salesforce Platform.

Key Responsibilities and objectives

• Develops and configures software respecting microservice software architecture and existing software platform for Credit Risk solutions.
• Learns and adopts low code software solution based on Salesforce platform aimed at delivering sound and compliant implementation of Credit Risk management processes.
• Understands the product END to END, knows its system integrations, technical limitations and how technical aspects influence product functionality and business operations.
• Proactively increases the technical know-how relevant for the product and for technologies used to deliver it. ​
• Agrees and oversees user testing and internal QA of the product.
• Has focus on the customer, serve as the voice of the customer, understand the ‘job to be done’ for users.
• Has close connection to Product and Risk teams to follow company business strategy.
• Follows agile product development methods​.
• Is responsible for the product success.
• Communicates the customer and business needs and to all stakeholders including the Delivery Team​
• Ensures internal PR of the product so that its clear to all stakeholders why the product is important​
• Builds and manages relations with the key stakeholders, breaks silos and supports cooperation among departments

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or at least 3 years of full time job experience with day to day software development in Java.
• Experience and a solid understanding of principles of design and development in micro-service architecture.
• Experience in designing and developing Java-based applications, including QA and full software lifecycle support (testing, issue analysis, bug fixing, code review).
• Hands-on experience using DevOps principles, CI/CD, application monitoring.
• Ability to proactively drive initiatives and deliver working solutions.
• Fluent communication in English (both written and oral).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
