Chevron is accepting online applications for the Accounting Analyst - ITC position through Sept 27 at 11:59 p.m. PH Time.

• Part of the ITC Finance, this position directly reports to Finance Mgr - ITFP & IT Depts • CTC Finance IT based in Houston. Provides financial analysis support to the ITC Organization.
• Monitor, analyze and explain variances corresponding to actual financial performance versus budgets and forecasts. The primary metrics which are analyzed include operating expense, capex, headcounts, and project costs.
• Support month-end close and other activities. This may include preparation and posting of journal entries, monitoring of ending balances and accruals, providing support on annual activities.
• Provide support in ensuring accuracy of financials including reconciliation between Workday and Target process, identifying variances and monitoring progress of resolution. Preparation of reports and reporting of results
• Perform administrative tasks including:
• Preparation and/or update of process descriptions templates and documentations
• Participates in projects initiated by MSSC
• Assist in executing the team’s work plans and support its revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Monitor effectiveness of processes, assesses gaps, develop corrective plans, report on progress made, and results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree major in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology and related courses.
• Demonstrated experience and background in Finance, Accounting, and/or Audit work
• Effective communicator and able to build relationships with various stakeholders and teams
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Innovative and has passion for learning digital tools and technologies
• Experience and knowledge in digital tools and other technology systems is an advantage
