About The Team:

Noah Medical’s Research and Development (R&D) Team is responsible for the development of endoluminal medical device solutions that are safe, effective, and on-time. We are a dynamic, data driven team and pride ourselves on our creative and collaborative approach to problem solving. We continuously strive for win-win solutions that our customers love. Noah Medical R&D team members have the traditional role of design and prototyping but also take the lead on design requirements, specifications, design risk assessment, test methods, verification testing and more. R&D also plays a critical cross functional role in support through production and even field reliability. We are looking for curious, collaborative, energetic problem solvers who enjoy a challenge. A Day In The Life Of Our Mechanical Engineering Intern, Capital:

• Manage large bill of materials to ensure correct quantities of parts are available for system builds
• Measure/assess robotic and mechatronic components and subassemblies for fit and function
• Assemble components, subassemblies and systems within the robotic system
• Work closely with vendors to ensure on time delivery of components and subassemblies
• Design test procedures and fixturing for characterization of mechanical subassemblies
• Provide troubleshooting and communication of technical issues as they arise to support the needs of the Mechanical Engineering team
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams in a start-up environment with minimal supervision and guidance

About You:

• Recent graduate with B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related engineering or scientific discipline
• Experience with CAD systems (SolidWorks preferred)
• Demonstrated ability and interest in product design, as well as design for manufacturability and serviceability
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and organization and documentation skills
• Experience with rapid prototyping and building test fixtures
• Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision

Pay Transparency

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.

California Pay Range

$24—$31 USD

Noah Medical may offer remote, hybrid, or onsite work arrangements within the state of California depending on the specific team and/or role where applicable.
