Quality Systems Engineer

As a key member of Nexperia’s global Quality Systems team, the Quality Systems Engineer, based in Shanghai or Shenzhen, will be responsible for supporting various areas, including Reporting, Customer Specific Requirements, Document Management System, and Auditing.

What you will do

Reporting and Data Management

• Maintain and adjust reporting of Quality data for the global Quality organization, focusing on areas such as the Quality Balance Scorecard
• Generate regular reports as per agreements with Process Owners
• Investigate and address KPI deviations with precision and attention to detail
• Ensure timely reporting to meet organizational deadlines
• Identify and implement improvements in data quality processes

Customer Requirement Review

• Support the review process of Customer Requirements, from intake to deployment

Internal Audits and Compliance

• Conduct internal audits to support the global internal Audit Program
• Follow up on non-conformities
• Support administration of Nexperia Document Management System
• Manage the SharePoint structure dedicated to the Quality Systems Organization

Promotion of Quality Communication

• Facilitate and promote effective quality communication across the organization

What you will need

Hard Skills:

• Certification or proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 standards
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar tools for extracting, analyzing, and presenting quality-related data effectively
• Experience with SharePoint, or similar systems for managing quality documents and processes

Soft Skills:

• Demonstrated structured problem-solving using methods like 8D or similar for complex quality issues
• International Environment Experience and Communication: Previous work in diverse settings, showcasing adaptability and effective communication; fluent in English and Chinese

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar experience

• 2-3 years' quality role experience, actively involved in quality process management

• Track record creating quality-related KPIs and dashboards using tools like Power BI

• Certified as an internal auditor for IATF 16949 or equivalent quality standards

• Experience handling Customer Specific Requirements within quality-driven environments (desirable)

• Proficiency in administrating Document Management Systems ensuring compliance (desirable)

• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, automotive, or similar industries (desirable)
