Overview

T. Rowe Price seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in Owings Mills, MD to:

• Design, develop, modify, adapt and implement short- and long-term IT solutions through new and existing applications, systems, databases and applications infrastructure.
• Review and interpret system requirements, business processes and propose solutions as well as code, test, debug and implement software solutions.
• Design and develop scalable ETL processes to support business intelligence reporting needs, while maintaining data quality and integrity.
• Propose and develop solutions to tune and optimize data processing workloads.
• Deliver high quality technical solutions and design system implementations to obtain information on technical limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.

Minimum Requirements

• Position requires a Master’s degree in computer information systems, computer science or related technical field PLUS:
• 2+ years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using waterfall and agile.
• 2+ years of experience with database querying and designing for relational DBs (e.g. Oracle, Exadata), develop data models or schemas from scratch and concepts such as ACID, Normalization, and Transactions, and cloud technologies.
• 2+ years of experience in developing ETL processes to support data warehouses.
• 2+ years of experience with Exadata PL/SQL and Informatica ETL Technologies.

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home.
