As a Financial Analyst you will be assisting in the coordination of the IT budget by establishing processes and communicating with IT Leadership. Your experience in communicating and collaborating with business leaders and budgeting expertise will be invaluable in this role. We are looking for someone with strong consulting skills, who can offer suggestions/ideas, provide guidance and push back and challenge current processes to help us improve our organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide key financial strategies and operational guidance that align with the overall strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a knowledge source in financial matters related to the understanding of accounting, expense, budget, capital and return on investment while providing financial advice to management.
  • Assist in the coordination, preparation, and communication of the IT Group budget.
  • Further develop internal budget and reporting processes to a mature state.
  • Lead business line financial briefings to internal and external partners.
  • Innovate and experiment to continuously find opportunities for improvement in existing processes and reports.
  • Independently provide and perform moderate to complex variance analysis of financial data.
  • Produce and analyze project and financial reports for assigned business divisions.
  • Perform financial modeling to figure out cost impacts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • Typically requires 2 or more years of related experience of related experience in financial analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency of Excel, MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in visualization software e.g., Tableau
  • Experience with Workday tooling and reporting preferred.
  • Experience in financial analysis development and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, modeling, and development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder with the intent to become a U.S. Citizen

Base Salary Range: Min: $78,200 - Mid: $101,700 - Max: $124,900 (Location: San Francisco)

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
