Senior Financial Analyst, Statutory Reporting

Key Responsibilities:

Statutory Reporting and compliance:
● Prepare, review, and submit statutory financial statements in compliance with local GAAP/IFRS for domestic and foreign entities
● Ensure timely filing of statutory reports, financial statements, tax returns, and other regulatory filings across all relevant jurisdictions
● Support tax filings, transfer pricing documentation, and other compliance-related tasks.
● Coordinate and manage statutory audits for both domestic and foreign entities, ensuring all required documentation is available.
● Address auditor queries, reconcile differences, and implement audit recommendations.
● Ensure that audit timelines are met, and that all statutory audit requirements are satisfied across multiple jurisdictions.

Journal Entries & Month-End Close:

• Prepare and post journal entries for all required adjustments including intercompany transactions, management fees, etc.
• Perform reconciliations of key accounts, including intercompany, foreign exchange, and accounts.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance statutory reporting processes
• Collaborate with the broader finance team to improve the quality and reliability of financial data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Experience with preparation of financial statements
• Working knowledge of developments in accounting standards, ie IFRS
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience in technical accounting research and documentation of company’s position on complex accounting matters
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems preferably WorkDay and SAP
