Who are we?

Our Munitions teams in Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

Role Responsibilities Include

  • Provide technical support for waste water treatment and energetic waste destruction operations, ensuring seamless troubleshooting and effective solutions.
  • Continuously analyse and optimise energetic waste destruction processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance to the facility’s EPA licence.
  • Manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and administrative systems.
  • Offer valuable technical advice and lead projects related to energetics waste treatment and facility upgrades for improved efficiency and safety.
  • Coordinate various audits, studies, and continuous improvement tasks, fostering a team-based culture to drive performance.
  • Occasional Interstate travel may be required

How About You?

  • Current Australian Citizen with eligibility to attain NV1 and ITAR
  • Degree and experience in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Science, Chemistry or Biologist
  • Previous experience with Waste Water Treatment with a focus on Biological Nutrient Removal
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality system, HAZOP assessment methodology
