Global Process Research engineer supporting Evonik‘s Specialty Additives businesses. Performing on highly efficient teams to develop new processes, scale-up new products, improve production efficiency and support cost savings initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute a plan for significant aspects of a research program with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Identify new opportunities, conduct innovative scientific experiments, and translate results into practical applications.
• Identify shortcomings in current processes and procedures, methodologies, and tools and suggest improvements.
• Prepare presentations and reports to capture intellectual property.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science Chemical Engineering or Masters of Science Chemistry. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience working effectively on teams to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
• Works independently and provides guidance and training to others on analyzing data trends to help guide decision making.
• Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
• Applies comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on creating relevant and effective reports and presentations.
