About this Opportunity

MillerKnoll’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their careers. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

As an Engineering/Automation Intern, you will apply standard engineering principles, concepts, theories, and techniques to routine assignments in support of business objectives and will be responsible for providing fundamental engineering leadership and expertise.

· Work with subject matter experts and technical analysts to deliver automation solutions to operations.

· Attains on-the-job work experience that is aligned with career objectives.

· Participates in cross-functional teamwork to complete Intern Project.

· Performs additional responsibilities as needed to achieve business objectives.

· Performs tasks related to the degree program as assigned by the work team leader.

What You Bring
The needed skills and experience for this role include...

· Basic knowledge of automation.

· Ability to build cross functional relationships

· Enrolled and pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university, and able to provide transcripts upon request.

· You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (overall or within your program) to qualify for consideration in the Intern Program.

· Must have satisfactorily completed basic coursework in the chosen degree program.

· Must be authorized to work in the United States.

· Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
