DISHER is currently partnering with a leading mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) consulting firm based in Orange, California. This company provides high-quality engineering solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential projects across Southern California.

What you'll get to do:

• Perform HVAC/ mechanical piping/ ductwork layout design and drafting using AutoCAD and Revit for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
• Conduct load calculations, equipment selections, and energy modeling to ensure system efficiency and compliance with project requirements
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate HVAC systems into project designs
• Prepare project specifications, cost estimates, and submittal reviews
• Participate in on-site customer visits for project assessments, inspections, field verification and coordination meetings
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and sustainable design practices (ASHRAE, LEED, Title 24, etc.)
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and construction documents
• Provide support in project management and client interaction to ensure project delivery is on time and within budget

What will make you successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in HVAC design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, and Energy Pro
• Familiarity with load calculation software
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including energy-efficient design and code compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Based in Southern California and willing to travel for occasional on-site visits
