Backend Team Leader

As part of our rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced Backend Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Tel Aviv. Our Asset Group is responsible for both driving innovation and responding effectively to customer needs. We manage the full development lifecycle—from initial research and solution design to the deployment of features in the field. In addition to ensuring high customer satisfaction, we focus on technical excellence, incorporating cutting-edge solutions, and continuously improving our systems.

What your day will look like:

• Lead and collaborate with the team on projects of varying scope—from quick turnarounds to long-term, strategic initiatives involving both customers and external vendors.
• Be a hands-on technical leader, actively contributing to code development while mentoring and supporting the team’s growth.
• Balance customer requirements with engineering best practices to design, develop, and deploy high-quality backend solutions.
• Support both pre-sales and post-sales efforts by understanding customer needs, then researching, developing, and implementing quick, proof-of-concept features to validate and improve customer outcomes.

Reach out if you are:

• Proven experience in managing a team of backend developers while remaining actively involved in hands-on development.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong customer empathy with the ability to respond to customer needs while maintaining technical priorities.

Advantages:

• Experience with designing and working with APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.).
• Experience with cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with researching and integrating external products and services.
