Front End Developer

Exiger is building technology that makes the world a more transparent place to succeed. Exiger is looking for an enthusiastic front-end developer to join our UI team to build amazing user experiences with AngularJS. The developer will apply their extensive experience with modern technologies and practices to help end-users make effective use of large data sets.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners to define user stories
• Participate in constructive design discussions to deliver maintainable and practical solutions
• Make recommendations on how to evolve the code base
• Accurately estimate development effort
• Develop and test new features
• Squash bugs
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Mentor junior developers

Knowledge & Skills

• ES6
• JavaScript transpilers
• Typescript
• Angular (Angular 2+)

• Responsive mobile web development experience
• Module bundling/loading technologies like Webpack
• React
• Java Web Development
• Maven

Professional Experience Required

• 3 years of software development experience
• 1+ years of experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• 2 years of experience using AngularJS
• Experience with build technologies like Grunt, Gulp, or similar
• Experience with the Less CSS pre-processor or similar
• At least 1 year of experience using agile methodologies

This is a Remote first position. Candidates must be located within 2-hour of McLean, VA, US as you will be expected onsite 1-2 days per month.
