What Are We Looking For?

Contentstack is looking for a Senior Software Engineer II. If you’re looking for an opportunity to join an innovative, fun, and fast-paced team where your contributions will have a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you!

Required:

API Development & Integration:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust APIs for machine learning models using FastAPI and Docker.

Software Engineering:

• Develop and maintain software applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning capabilities into broader applications and services.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through code reviews and testing.

Scalability & Performance Optimization:

• Implement strategies for handling large-scale data and high-traffic scenarios.
• AWS Integration & Cloud Solutions:
• Implement cloud-based solutions to ensure high availability and scalability of ML applications.
• Manage AWS resources and infrastructure to support machine learning projects.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to define requirements and deliverables.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Best Practices & Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in machine learning and software engineering.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Software Engineering Skills:

• Proficient in software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.

Other Skills:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Nice to have

API Development & Integration:

• Integrate machine learning models into existing and new systems ensuring seamless interaction and data flow.

Machine Learning Engineering:

• Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models/LLMs using Python.
• Implement best practices in model versioning, monitoring, and deployment.

Scalability & Performance Optimization:

• Optimize APIs and machine learning models for performance and scalability.
• AWS Integration & Cloud Solutions:
• Utilize AWS services for deploying and scaling machine learning models and APIs.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in machine learning and data processing using Python and related libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

Location - Chennai (Hybrid)
Experience - 6 to 8 Years
