Summary

Our Vehicle Autonomy Team is looking for a highly motivated Autonomy Test Automation Engineer to deliver the promise of autonomy to the world’s farm fields. In this role, you will collaborate with our team to build and maintain the continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) system for hardware and software-in-the-loop testing. You will review incoming tests, monitor and correct flakey tests, and ensure the automated test system supports a fast-paced development environment. We tackle our objectives with multi-functional engineering teams of systems and embedded software, test and QA, mechatronics, computer vision, and machine learning engineers. Our team is empowered to figure out how to overcome challenges, and plan and prioritize work – everyone is a key contributor.

Job Responsibilities

Main job responsibilities include:

  • Implement test automation framework in conjunction with external partners and team collaborators.
  • Create and monitor daily and nightly workflows that ensure incoming software changes do not disrupt the verification pipeline.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to allow others to quickly understand test case performance and prioritize work based on data-driven outcomes.
  • Review and maintain test case repository to ensure external releases are meet requirements and the team can track test case progress over time.

Required Experience and Skills

  • BS or higher in Engineering or technical fields such as Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • 2+ years building test infrastructure, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging multi-faceted systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, Linux.
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows in Github Actions or similar systems.
  • Resourcefulness and perseverance; demonstrated ability to be successful in uncertain situations, and a high degree of agility and creativity to adapt and react to learnings.
  • Exhibit a high level of personal and professional integrity.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • SQL & dashboard visualizations (ex. QuickSight, Tableau)
  • Cloud-based data storage (ex. s3)
  • Bazel
  • Experience with Computer Vision / Machine Learning
  • Autonomous Vehicle development or test experience
  • Ability to operate, plan and execute, within the presence of uncertainty.
