About The Position

We are seeking an Operations Analyst to join our growing firm. The Analyst will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and be heavily involved in the operations of a dynamic and global proprietary trading firm.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a fast-paced technology-based trading environment with daily interaction across multiple business units, including the front office, IT and accounting
• Daily/intraday trade and position reconciliation
• Maintain relationships with exchanges, clearing firms and vendors
• Assist in the management and the periodic auditing of market data reporting/usage
• Create and maintain policies, procedures, and practices to help ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Perform ad hoc project work as needed

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Prior equities/futures/options experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Advanced computer skills required, proficient in the MS Office Suite
• Familiarity with a computer programming language, preferably SQL and/or Python
• Ability to quickly learn and research new tools, procedures and structures
• Attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
• Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-starter with a strong desire to make processes more efficient
• Problem solver with superior analytical and reconciliation skills
