At Alto, we are disrupting the Pharmacy industry with technology. We put patients at the center of technology solutions and work with partners to deliver technology first solutions. As a Principal Product Manager - Technical for Partner Solutions, you will be responsible for creating and leading the partnerships technical roadmap and work with a cross-functional team to define and execute the solutions. You will drive technical innovation and leverage your deep understanding of the healthcare and Pharmacy industry to guide the development of cutting-edge solutions that revolutionize how Pharmacy participants and the ecosystem operate in the 21st century.

You are pivotal to partner success while balancing with progression towards Alto Tech north star.

  • Defining and owning the Technology roadmap for Partners, ensuring alignment with the overall technical north star future state. Create a progressive and iterative way to add value to the partners and patients.
  • Build and code proof of concepts to prove the value by creatively solving problems.
  • Work closely with Product teams and Alto owned Pharmacy operations, to build scalable, robust, compliant, and secure systems that power Alto's pharmacy services.
  • Create success metrics, working back from the patient, partner. Create fall backs, leading and lagging indicators.
  • Leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices to continually optimize and improve Alto Technology.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging the team to push boundaries and explore new technologies and approaches to solve complex problems. Lead the innovation through proof of concepts and MVPs.
  • Serve as an advisor and strategic thought partner to senior leadership, providing expert guidance and recommendations on product direction and technical priorities.

A Bit About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of technical leadership experience as a Principal Engineer, Technical Program Management, Technical Product Management, Partner Solutions, Partner Success etc., working on commercial software solutions.
  • Ability to produce production level code.
  • Experience designing and architecting technical products that include mobile, full stack, complex technology stack in the healthcare or Pharmacy industry.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication with external partners, internal stakeholders, clear expectations setting and management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building mobile applications with low latency and high throughput
  • Experience with extremely high volume transactional systems
  • Experience designing customer experience with thrifty, creative solutions
  • Experience building traditional AI and generative AI solutions with Prompt Engineering
  • External facing pitching or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Experience coding and building products preferably in the area of healthcare, health, or e-commerce preferred
  • Startup and entrepreneurial experience preferred

Additional Physical Job Requirements

  • Read English, comprehend, and follow simple oral and written instructions. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., phone conversations)
  • Frequent repeating motions required to operate a computer that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Sedentary work: Sitting most of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: 196,000- 245,000

Commission Eligible: No

Equity Eligible: Yes

Travel: Yes - Required up to 20% of the time.

Location: Remote (San Francisco or Seattle preferred)

Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: Washington, California, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, and New York.

Employment Requirement: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. At this time, Alto is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.
