As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our venture building process, overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our DevOps infrastructure and practices across our ventures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable systems that support the rapid development and deployment of our ventures. Your expertise will be crucial in driving automation, enhancing productivity, and maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure to support our ventures.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Automation: Implement and promote automation practices to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to identify and address system issues, ensuring smooth integration and delivery.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure all systems and processes adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and proactively recommend improvements to our DevOps practices.

About you:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitrise, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
