About the role

Broadcom Mainframe Resource Intelligence (MRI) SaaS are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join small and focused agile team delivering unique insights and analytics for mission critical customers worldwide.

This position is for the SaaS part of the team, with the technical stack mostly consisting of: Google Cloud, Kubernetes, React, Next.js, TypeScript, Java, Spring, Linux, Neo4j, PostgreSQL, Git.

You will

- Work within a team of mostly Full-Stack engineers to deliver enhancements and new functionality in MRI using agile methodology and a modern technical stack.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Participate in code reviews, and provide technical leadership and guidance to more junior engineers.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the product, ensuring scalability, performance, maintainability and reliability.

- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.

- Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests and integration tests to ensure the functionality and performance of the software.

- Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on web development, Java, Linux, Git, one of GCP/AWS/Azure and related technologies.

- Proven experience in designing and developing complex software applications.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Excellent knowledge of English language.

Compensation And Benefits

- This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus (APB) in accordance with relevant plan documents, and generous equity (RSUs) in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.

The annual base salary range for this position is $107,000 - $171,000
