As an Application Engineer, you will play a vital role in creating technical solutions that fulfill the needs of our customers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide product guidance and scope for new requisitions . You will also be working and learning with the biggest names in the energy industry. Providing downhole equipment technical expertise for the completions, remediation and abandonment phases.

As a Well Intervention Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Providing technical input to the well construction, completions, well intervention and abandonment phases of the upstream oil & gas sector.

• Conducting all activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance and Baker Hughes Core Values

• Evaluating system and component performance in their application. Monitoring for trends and initiate actions to improve reliability/durability/cost

• Reducing capital expense and minimizing risk with the implementation of best in class well intervention equipment

• Introducing and executing new technology product launches for clients, potentially on-site

• Providing ongoing support to assist operations in providing effective solutions while optimizing the well intervention process

• Maximizing our customers' return on investment through Well Intervention operations

• Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting

• Training, developing, and assessing Service Delivery personnel.

• Development and mentoring of field engineers

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience

• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Well Intervention applications

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of operational excellence

• Have a minimum of 2 years of Wellsite applications

• Be able to work well on a cross functional team while supporting operations and engineering

• Lead analytical and design activities.

• Have the ability to work with external customers on a regular basis
