We're looking for a driven Project Management Officer, Professional Services for the business unit of Teammate. You will report to Director, Professional Services, APAC.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position, based in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, (hybrid working, working from home 3 days/week). #LI-Hybrid

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Lead TeamMate projects with implementation teams of internal/external business and technical consultants.
• Understand contractual obligations outlined in the statement of work to ensure effective and timely scope management and staffing
• Ensure that all project resources are following the standard TeamMate implementation methodologies and controls for successful implementations
• Identify any issues and risks for the team and project, and manage any open issue or risk to resolution.
• Manage delivery to project plans, including resources, schedules and budgets
• Identify and challenge scope and work estimates that seem extraordinary, providing acceptable alternatives as needed through the entire life cycle of the project.
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Resolve priority conflicts and come up with amicable solutions for clients and team members
• Delegate project deliverables to project resources and ensure timely completion to agreed project dates
• Prepare for and lead client and internal status reporting meetings to communicate project schedules and deliverables to all resources
• Conduct post-implementation assessments to document implementation success criteria and best practices
• Design and recommend methods, tools, procedures, and protocols for continuous improvement of the project management capabilities

ABOUT YOU

• 3+ years of experience in project management within the technology industry, or equivalent related job experience
• Bachelor’s degree, preferrablly degrees in Business, Technology or related field
• Experience managing large-scale projects in matrix organizations
• Demonstrable experience managing projects throughout a full lifecycle (from Inception Deployment and Maintenance).
• Strong relationship management skills to work at all levels of an organization and ability to influence Client Executives, Project Teams and Supplier Personnel.
• Experience in negotiating project scope, further demonstrating success executing formal estimation techniques and/or metrics collection for reporting.
• Must be a self-starter, have strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, have ability to learn on the job, and have a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• High customer service orientation-Adept at anticipating and meeting the expectations associated with managing multiple priorities, expectations, program, relationships
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English. Chinese or Japanese is a plus.
• Regional or International exposure
• Experience working in or with the Internal Auditing or Accounting fields is a plus
• PMP/PMI Certification is a plus
