Front-end developer

We are looking for a front-end developer who can help us develop and maintain our portal that is used to configure and operate our DCB solution and extend the functionality to cover more products in our Sales Platforms portfolio.

Telenor Linx is a company within the Telenor Group. We partner with global digital players such as Google, Meta and Netflix, and Mobile Network Operators worldwide, to provide the best possible user experience. We secure connectivity for over 200 million subscribers, enabling them to stay connected independent of where they are.

Telenor Linx is the result of merging the two global units Telenor Digital AS and Telenor Global Services AS and is fully owned by Telenor Group. The company has an estimated yearly revenue of approx. 2 BNOK and engages 200 people across the world with offices in Norway (HQ), Sweden, Poland, Dubai, Pakistan, Thailand, Singapore. We are now searching for new talents to take part in building Telenor Linx and develop global services benefitting mobile subscribers worldwide.

We offer a broad set of products and services as core telco services such as international voice, messaging, data roaming for Telenor, including software development of cloud-native solutions connecting mobile operators and digital service providers, globally.

Who are you?

We are looking for a front-end developer who can actively contribute to bringing our portal solution forward. You are open minded and love to learn, as well as to explore and share your own ideas. Working together with colleagues inspires you, and creating quality solutions is a motivation. You take pride in making quality code and solutions that the users loves, you are passionate about front-end work, and you are motivated by making users happy.

You will be working on everything from requirement gathering and analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance, even though most of the time changes are small and require just a brief touch on most of those steps. You write automated tests and trust that changes can be safely delivered to production several times per day.

Skills we are looking for are:

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Team oriented work style
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks. We are using Vue, and even if it is not a hard requirement with experience from Vue, it should be a framework you would be happy to learn
• UX skills will be highly appreciated

Most of the engineers in the team have an M.Sc. in Computer Science , or simiar relevant experience/education and we think you have the same. Our working language is English; therefore, a fluent English level is required,

You´ll work with a high performing team of developers, onboarding engineers and business folks that work together to create an enjoyable user experience and deliver a product that is bringing revenues to Telenor. 4 million users worldwide actively make payments through us every month and our revenues continue to grow!
