Mid-Intermediate - Senior

Overview

This position will be in charge of the development of data infrastructure and data pipelines for our in-house application in the marketing domain.

A successful applicant would also drive technical projects, including but not limited to technology management (code reviews, technical decision making, etc.) and would provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment.

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Development of data infrastructure (DBs, schedulers, etc.)

- Development of data-marts and ETL/ELT pipelines

- Operations as a database admin

DBT, Trino, MariaDB, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Hadoop, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo Workflow, Python, SQL, etc.

Team

International and diverse team with highly skilled engineers, business professionals, data analyst and scientist (around 40 members in total)

Mandatory Qualifications:

Engineering experience

- 4+ years experience (8+ for senior) in building and delivering production services or equivalent practical experience

- Experience with SQL for production services

- Intermediate or higher level in one of the major/modern computer languages including but not limited to Python, C/C++, Java, or Go, etc.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related technical/scientific field) or equivalent practical experience

Language

- Business-level English

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience with containerization (E.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

- Knowledge of databases and distributed processing technologies. (MySQL, Hadoop, Hive, Presto)

- Interest and ability to learn other coding language(s) or new technologies(s) as needed
