Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer with strong skills in .NET/C# and the related ecosystem and working in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

The purpose of this role is to play a pivotal role within the team in designing, configuring, and implementing supply chain technology solutions for new customers and existing customer solutions/enhancement/maintenance/upgrades. The ideal candidate will relish big technical challenges in a fast-paced environment and can ‘hit the ground running’.

We are looking for:

• Senior Software Engineer with strong skills in .NET/C# and the related ecosystem.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams across different geographies is very desirable.
• Translate functional stories and use cases into technical code
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
• Solid experience as senior engineer who has deployed solutions successfully with high quality
• Experience of Agile development/deployment principles.

Technical Skills:

We are seeking an experienced .NET engineer who would be responsible for building .NET applications in C#. Your primary responsibility will be the design and development of eCommerce and logistics applications. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Essential:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in latest version of .Net/C#
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and various design and architectural patterns
• Skilled at writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
• Demonstrable experience using Azure Cloud technologies
• Demonstrable experience of using Apache Kafka
• Demonstrable experience of using Git-based code versioning tools such as GitHub
• Experience implementing application in Kubernetes
• Demonstrable experience of CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions
• Demonstrable experience with NoSQL databases such as Azure CosmosDB
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application

Desirable:

• Experience with external API integrations for high transaction volumes with different authentication mechanisms
• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Skilled in writing reusable libraries
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns
• Proficient in C# with a good knowledge in eCommerce and logistics ecosystems
