Analyst to Strategic Programmes in Operations

The analyst is responsible for supporting the successful execution of the strategic transformation initiatives within Operations. This role involves analyzing data, monitoring project performance, and providing insights that guide strategic decisions. The analyst will report to the Chief of Strategic Programmes in Operations, and will work closely with Head of PMO and cross-functional teams, including project managers, finance, HR, and key leaders in Operations, to ensure that the strategic transformation program are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for the following:

Data analysis & reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to assess the effectiveness of the initiatives in the strategic transformation program.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to program success.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing progress, risks, and opportunities.

Project and Work Stream monitoring, evaluation, and engagement:

  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Monitor project performance against established goals and benchmarks.
  • Identify potential risks or issues in project execution and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with project and work stream managers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Facilitate communication between different teams and ensure that information flows seamlessly across departments.

Process improvement and change support:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within transformation programs and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements and track their impact.
  • Support the development and execution of change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during transformation efforts.
  • Assist in training and communication efforts related to transformation initiatives.

Financial analysis:

  • Collaborate with the finance team to analyze the financial impact of transformation program.
  • Track budgets, forecast costs, and provide financial reports to stakeholders.

A successful candidate will have the following:

Education:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Preferably 2-5 years of experience in program or project management, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in analyzing data and providing actionable insights.
  • Experience working in large-scale transformation or change management programs is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
