Image Recognition / OCR / ML Engineer

PetroApp, a leading company in the automotive industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Image Recognition / OCR / ML Engineer to join our team. As an Image Recognition / OCR / ML Engineer at PetroApp, you will play a key role in developing and implementing cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning solutions to enhance our automotive applications.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop image recognition and OCR algorithms, as well as build and train machine learning models. You will work with large datasets to extract meaningful information and insights, and apply them to improve our automotive software solutions. Responsibilities

• Design and develop computer vision algorithms for image recognition, object detection, and OCR.
• Build and train machine learning models for automotive applications, such as autonomous driving or smart vehicle systems.
• Work with large datasets to extract meaningful information and insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision and machine learning solutions into our automotive software applications.
• Test and evaluate the performance of image recognition and OCR models, and optimize them for real-world scenarios.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision, OCR, and machine learning technologies, and apply them to drive innovation within the organization.
• Document research findings, algorithms, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's or PhD degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing computer vision, OCR, and machine learning algorithms.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Knowledge of image processing libraries and tools, such as OpenCV.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature extraction, and data augmentation techniques.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and methodologies.
• Experience in working with large datasets and cloud computing platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
