You will development, analyze and improve cable manufacturing processes. You will provide guidance to resolve technical issues, and will oversee projects to implement enhancements. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure best safety practices are followed, on-time delivery is met, and excellent quality is achieved.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical guidance for manufacturing processes
  • Assisting New Product Development by providing design for manufacturability input and running prototype trials through the shop
  • Designing and implement tooling for production
  • Working with maintenance to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
  • Participating in root cause analysis and quality improvements
  • Participating in LEAN initiatives

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Have 5+ years’ experience in either oil and gas industry or continuous process manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrate good problem solving, process improvement and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety
  • Experience working with Continuous Vulcanization and Plastic extrusion, a plus, but not require
  • LEAN Six Sigma knowledge
  • SolidWorks modelling and drafting experience
