THE ROLE

The Senior Analyst, FP&A will be a critical business partner to the SG&A functional teams. This role is based in San Francisco and will work closely with the Finance team in SF, SG&A teams in SF and Racine, WI, and the centralized accounting team in Racine, WI. You’ll be a key contributor to the business in developing and distributing functional budgets, track monthly financial performance and variances to budget, identify risks and opportunities to forecasts, and administer any audit/tax requests that come our way. Furthermore, you’ll ensure our monthly results are reported accurately.

This is an onsite role in Racine, WI

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Own and develop functional cost center budgets and lead monthly financial review meetings with functional business partners

  • Understand and track variances to budget/forecast for leadership reporting

  • Distribute month-end spend reports to functional budget owners for review and commentary

  • Provide financial modeling to support internal decision making around forecasts

  • Create ad hoc reports as needed for tracking budgets and other business drivers

  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries for general accruals in the SG&A functional areas, along with managing year-end accruals

  • Record and reconcile bonus and relocation expenses related to LSB North American entities

  • Handle intercompany transactions from booking to billing across entities and regions

  • Coordinate with Corporate Accounting on close responsibilities and respond to enquiries from Corporate Accounting (audit or tax requests, questions on intercompany recons, etc.)

  • Develop financial analysis and modeling for special projects

  • Build strong relationships based on credibility and trust across multiple layers of management

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required:

  • 3+ years working in Accounting or Finance

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience

Preferred:

  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes and deadlines

  • SAP or ERP system experience a plus

  • Public accounting experience preferred

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Focus on identifying and implementing process improvement

  • Sense of humor, a positive outlook with a “can-do” attitude!

Job Requirements:

  • Fulltime position
  • Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees
  • This is not eligible for relocation
