Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the O365 messaging infrastructure, including Exchange Online and On-Premises environments.
  • Ensure the O365 messaging infrastructure is aligned with business requirements, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and optimize the O365 messaging performance, availability, reliability, and security.
  • Implement and enforce the O365 messaging policies, procedures, and governance.
  • Manage and assist with complex or escalated O365 messaging incidents, problems, changes, and requests as needed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the O365 messaging users and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Lead O365 messaging projects and initiatives, from planning to execution.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of outsource resources, ensuring they deliver the O365 messaging services according to the SLAs and quality standards.
  • Provide hands on engineering support for the O365 messaging solutions, such as configuration, migration, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Stay updated with the latest O365 messaging trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Participates in preparing and testing the disaster recovery plan
  • Communicate with managers on business systems and project statuses.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Creates, tests and manages scripts as needed for management and administration
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in O365 messaging engineering and administration.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in O365 messaging technologies, such as Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender, etc.
  • PowerShell for various Office365 and Exchange administrative functions
  • Strong knowledge and skills in O365 messaging security, compliance, and governance including understanding of retention policies, DLP, and legal hold
  • Strong knowledge and skills in O365 messaging performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have one or more of the following Microsoft certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate.
