Expert in Corporate Financial Planning

We are seeking a highly skilled Expert in Corporate Financial Planning to help guide our client in leveraging underutilized external data to enhance demand forecasting and financial planning. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in macroeconomic analysis to forecast demand and a proven track record in the manufacturing or automotive sectors. You will collaborate with business units and data scientists to integrate macroeconomic indicators (e.g., unemployment rate, consumer confidence) with internal data, improving the accuracy of financial forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and guide the client on using macroeconomic and financial data to create predictive demand models.
• Identify and integrate external market and economic trends to refine the client's forecasting methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial forecasting and decision-making processes.
• Provide strategic advice on leveraging market data the client isn’t currently using for more accurate forecasting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in macroeconomic analysis, market intelligence, or financial forecasting.
• Deep industry experience in manufacturing or automotive sectors is essential.
• Expertise in using macroeconomic and financial indicators to inform business and financial strategies.

This a fully remote role for an independent (freelance) consultant . Start date ASAP. This is an expert intervention role with a maximum number of 3 delivery days in total.
