Sr Analyst

Primary Purpose:

The Sr Analyst, Asia Treasury, under direction of the Senior Manager, Asia Treasury, is responsible to support all aspects of regional treasury and insurance risk management. Position will be located in Seoul, Korea.

Cash Management

• Manage the daily cash position in the Asia region. Act as a connect point with local finance & outsourced agents for daily liquidity support for China, Korea & other Asia countries local accounts (for payroll, tax, utility, agent fee etc.)
• Update and optimize the banking, payments, and Treasury reporting systems for the region.
• Help design and maintain optimal cash management structures and solutions for the Aisa Business Units to better support business funding requirement.
• Provide Asia supports to the global cash forecasting process optimization, including weekly & monthly direct cash forecast data preparation and future forecast system launching.
• Support cash and liquidity management strategies to ensure an efficient use of global cash; work closely with other Treasury teams, Tax and Legal departments to implement strategies.
• Back-up the other regional cash management members as necessary

Treasury Administration & Korea/SEA Treasury support

• Management of Asia e-banking users add/delete or amends in banking systems.
• Support the management of Asia bank accounts, bank signatures and dealing mandates etc. per global Treasury policies.
• Timely help on Asia Business Units company changes update with banking partners (legal rep, address, directors update etc.)
• Prepare and maintain Treasury related docs to support internal and external audits and SOX reviews of cash management policies, procedures, and work instructions for the Asia region, including but not limited to banking facility docs, bank guarantee docs, cash pooling docs, IC loans agreements, bank accounts open/closure supporting, e-banking users amends approvals etc.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly region reporting for cash, bank fees, bank guarantee, supply chain finance program etc.
• Act as local Treasury connect point in Korea to better understand Treasury related requests and support business development.
• Support other admin tasks assigned by manager.

Job Specifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA or Master’s in finance preferred
• Certified Financial Analyst or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) a plus
• Technical knowledge of corporate finance and cash management
• Good understanding of general accounting principles
• Excellent communication skills, customer focused, and continuous improvement mindset
• Conversational fluency in English
• Ability to design new processes or improve to current techniques.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
