Modash is a growing creator partnerships platform that helps brands scale their partnerships with creators on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. We’re looking for an Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.

Here are some things you might do in a week as an Accountant at Modash:

• Accounting: You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. Responsibilities include posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded, updating accounts receivable and accounts payable, performing reconciliations, and ensuring timely bank payments.
• Reporting: Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the accountant’s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles, able to prepare budget forecasts, and work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
• Migration to New Accounting Software: The ideal candidate has a good understanding of how accounting software works. You will be responsible for overseeing the transition to the new accounting system: Directo, ensuring a smooth migration process that does not disrupt reporting to management and stakeholders.
• Collaboration: The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.
• Learning and Educating: You'll have the invaluable opportunity to learn and grow your skills in accounting. You'll work closely with our experienced Head of Accounting and CFO, receiving guidance and mentorship as you take on various responsibilities. We're committed to supporting your professional development and helping you thrive in your role.

We don’t expect you to:

• Figure it out all on your own - you will have a supportive, accessible team of people around you and an onboarding buddy to support your smooth entry ride.
• Tools you will be using are Merit Aktiva and MS Office.

Requirements

• Excellent organizing abilities, great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with Estonian accounting software (Aktiva Merit or Directo is a plus)
• Estonian written and spoken,
• Very good level of English: written and spoken
• BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field.
• Fast-paced working environment has proven to be suitable for you. But you never compromise quality over speed.
• Ideally experienced working with SaaS B2B companies.
• Experience in software implementation projects is a plus.
