What will you do?

In this position you will join our Singapore Transport, Land & Water business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of building projects within a large portfolio of multidisciplinary markets.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Undertake design and analysis of civil works including roads, alignment, drainage, sewerage, and utilities etc. for infrastructure and building projects, and be able to deliver solutions to complex problems.
• Lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup, mentor, and provide guidance to other structural engineers within the team.
• Possess initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise during design and construction stages.
• Prepare detailed design reports and presentation to clients.
• Work independently and have excellent communication skills with project team-mates as part of a team.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Recognized Civil Engineering qualification (Bachelor/ Master’s degree).
• Minimum 6 to 15 years professional design experience in the field of civil works design including roads, alignment, drainage, sewerage, and utilities etc.
• Proven proficiency and experience in civil works design and analysis for infrastructure and building projects in Singapore and overseas.
• Sound understanding of Euro Design Codes, Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice, and statutory requirements (LTA, BCA, PUB etc.), with hands on experience in usage of Civil Engineering Software.
• Energetic, proactive, and reliable team player with excellent communication and project coordination skills.
