You will play a crucial role in the success of our sourcing efforts and strategic partnerships. You will join a global, highly efficient, and dynamic team of sourcing professionals recognized across the company for their domain expertise, insights, and impact. This role will involve managing critical aspects of third-party sourcing relationships needed for new product and feature launches, improving existing products, and developing and executing strategic data partnerships to drive business growth and innovation.
What you'll do
- Lead your data domain/s and manage the entire sourcing process, from ecosystem insight, supplier identification, and qualification, data analysis, commercial negotiations, contract drafting, and long-term relationship management.
- Develop and implement supplier strategies, considering market developments, competitors, and trends that will directly impact our products.
- Actively manage existing suppliers by assessing performance, re-evaluating relationships, their impact on product quality, and identifying additional business opportunities for TomTom.
- Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful partnership outcomes.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or business development, demonstrating a strong track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities with strong negotiation skills.
- The ideal candidate should exhibit a proactive approach to opportunity identification and pursuit, coupled with a passion for driving impactful outcomes in a competitive environment.
- Practical experience in setting up and managing projects with the help of tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, etc.) with strong time management and work prioritization skills.
- Ability to interact with and influence decision-makers (internally and externally) at every level, including senior executives.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to form strategic insights from available data.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office is required.
- Ability to speak another EU- or commonly used business language is an advantage.
- Prior experience and established connections in mapping, location technology, mobility, or other related industries is an added plus.
