Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst assists in obtaining, reconciling, analyzing, and reporting on client data, and providing data populations adhering to technical specifications to the Service Delivery teams within a prescribed time frame.

People:

• Create a positive team experience.

Client:

• Follows all applicable security policies regarding client’s data and documentation
• Travels to client sites to assist in data extraction tool installation and testing, assist in performing client data extractions, and performs configuration of Ryan’s invoice image extraction tool and testing, as required by projects
• Assists in reconciling and analyzing of client data, and performs reconciliation of client data using Microsoft® Access, Microsoft® SQL Server, and other tools.

Value:

• Assists in the preparation of the final documentation of the data project
• Assists with the installation of custom data extraction tools
• Develops limited custom programming for Ryan’s invoice image extraction tool
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Any bachelor’s degree, Information Systems, or Computer Science will be preferred.

Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet. The Consultant should have beginner knowledge of a database technology platform such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc. Business system applications experience such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, etc. and experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and/or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is desired.
