Student Assistant - Software Testing

The position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student worker to join our Sound and Vibration Software Development Department. As a student worker in this department, you will support in ensuring the quality and reliability of among other things our large measurement systems.

Primary responsibilities:

• Assisting in Test Setup Creation: Collaborate with the testing team to design and create test setups for system tests related to network and software performance and stability.
• Participating in System Test Runs: Contribute to planning and running specific system test runs, ensuring comprehensive coverage of test scenarios.
• Defect Identification and Documentation: Identify and document defects, issues, and anomalies during testing.
• Supporting Test Automation Efforts: Participate in test automation initiatives and help maintain test environments.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of network technologies (Ethernet and TCP/IP) and Windows OS configuration.
• Familiarity with software development concepts
• Self-driven, curious, and eager to learn.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
