Implementation Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW

This Implementation Engineer role is responsible for configuring and customizing e2open’s Intelligent Application Suite in line with the E2open's direction and customers’ business needs. The Implementation Engineer will work in a team of project manager, architects, application implementation engineers and testers in the full SDLC cycle including requirements gathering, solution design and development, user acceptance testing and solution implementation.

ESPONSIBITES:

  • Understanding complex requirements from Customer/Solution architect and translate into technical design and clear documentation on how value-based use cases will be implemented.
  • Configures E2open application and collaborates with technical team for implementation of integrations and complex customizations to meet client’s needs.
  • Contribute to technical discussions with internal product/analytics team to implement complex solutions.
  • Customizing standard solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Trouble-shooting technical issues of projects.
  • Effectively communicates a variety of information (e.g., technical details, status updates, obstacles and challenges being faced, strategies for resolving issues, reporting and interpretation of data) in a way that the peer/project team understands and finds meaningful.
  • Ability to collaborate regularly with global, multicultural teams within E2open.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant IT programs / courses.
  • 3-4 years’ experience in Configuring & Implementing Enterprise Systems using SDLC concepts and Agile methodology.
  • Strong skills Core JAVA, Groovy, Python, SQL, PL/SQL, basic knowledge of Linux and ETL tools.
  • Some exposure to Integration involving XML, API, Webservice & B2B Protocols like EDI, XML
  • Fair understanding of implementation best practices.
  • Complex troubleshooting skills.
  • Good Enterprise Software Implementation Experience.
  • Detail oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of English – Verbal and Written.
  • SCM/ERP/CRM implementation or support experience.
