PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

This role will be supporting the U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFF) Headquarters (HQ) at USFF Norfolk, Virginia at a Government facility/site. As a member of their USFF Communications and Information Systems Division (N6) Support Team, you will significantly contribute to Navy Fleet Readiness and Homeland Security. The team is involved in information technology (IT) support tasks including but are not limited to Program Management support, Network Engineering support, Maritime Operations Center/Tactical Systems support, Video Teleconferencing and Audio/Visual support, Portal Management and Application Development support, Staff IT Business Process/IT Services support, Satellite Communications Planning support, Information Assurance (IA)/Certification and Accreditation support, Database Administration support, Communications Security/EKMS support, and general IT support, as well as maintenance, updating and enhancement of developed application/software.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET web applications.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Create and maintain SharePoint solutions, including custom workflows and integrations.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Work in an Agile development environment, adhering to project timelines and deliverables.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications for performance and scalability.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.

• 2+ years of experience developing SharePoint applications.

• 2+ years of experience developing .NET web applications.

• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript, including REST and JSON.

• Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.

• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with .NET Core (.NET 6 or 8).

• Experience with SPFx (SharePoint Framework) development.

• Telerik Components, including Kendo UI for Ajax.

• Entity Framework.

• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.

• Blazor.

• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with PowerShell.
