Senior Fullstack Engineer, Kamu

The team is building the most important daily tools for the tens of thousands of S Group retail employees across Finland on their handheld device. One of these products is Tepa.

Tepa is used for ‘tasks and feedback’, think of this as a ‘to-do’ app on the Kamu device, giving tens thousands of store employees their list of what they need to do today. We’re on a mission to improve store work, whether through better management of daily tasks or getting rid of emails and excel sheets.

On the feedback side, Tepa relates to business processes, like for example, statistics of what products sell quickly meaning there is shelf space, or maybe we need to sell that product at a discount because they won’t fit there, etc. This helps workers automate as much as possible, by collecting data and figuring out these various processes for us.

The Job:

You will take technical ownership of the whole service, including frontend, backend and database.

What we hope from you:

• Your experience has an emphasis on backends, data modeling, and databases

• Experience in some of the following: Kotlin, TypeScript, React, SQL/MySQL, AWS.

• Interest in the business side as well, why we do things, and how we can do our best to serve our internal customers and users.

Bonus points:

Ktor, JVM, Containers, monitoring tools

While fluent Finnish is not a requirement, it helps while communicating with users, as well with going through documentation. Our applications have a Finnish UI for a generally Finnish speaking group of users.
