Test Engineer

Fortune Brands Innovations Group, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer in Meriden, CT with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering Technology or related field or foreign equivalent degree. 2.5 years of related experience. Required skills: Use knowledge of RF communication protocols involving Z-wave, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth to create test fixtures and to execute test procedures; Design and build electronic test fixtures, test procedures, and data acquisition systems for use in the testing and validation of RF communicating electro-mechanical door locks; Analyze data from various sources including data acquisition devices and manual data collection methods to validate proper performance and operation of electro-mechanical RF communicating door locks; Manage all functions pertaining to the operation of an electronics and mechanical test engineering laboratory including specifying laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, logic analyzers and various RF testing devices. 5% domestic travel required; up to 40% telecommuting allowed; must live within normal commuting distance of Meriden, CT
