  • Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
  • Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing process, identify areas of improvements, and recommend solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze plant process metrics such as cycle time, yield and scrap rate, throughput to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies to meet or exceed production targets.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis by using PDCA and other Kaizen methods.
  • Provide training and guidance to production teams on new process, procedures, and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
  • Be available to work after hours and weekends, as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest advancements in manufacturing technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Facilitate cross functional team meetings to communicate project milestones and timeline.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as an engineer in manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, controls or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Able to use process simulation software and computer-aided design (AutoCAD) tools to create process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
  • Working knowledge of GMP, OSHA and ISO requirements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-function teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with process automation and controls systems

Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
