Management Accountant

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join the National Education Group team. This role provides all-encompassing end to end support for the accounting function including managing financial transactions, production of management accounts and reporting packs for one of the group companies.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Production of Monthly Management Accounts (Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss)
• Variance Analysis along with commentary
• Production of financial reporting packs
• Assisting with Budgeting and Forecasting
• Challenge, support, analyse and present findings to stakeholders
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Posting journals, Raising invoices and general bookkeeping
• VAT Returns and liaising with HMRC
• Process optimisation and development of systems to improve efficiencies

Experience

• Finance Management: 3 years (required)

Skills and Competencies

• Good IT Skills (Excel – Essential, Netsuite – Desirable)
• Highly organised and able to work on own initiative
• Strong communicator
• Team player
• Good analytical and reporting skills

Qualifications

• Qualified or finalist in professional qualification (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA)
