Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred
• 5.5 years of experience in software design and active development, design experience in coding developing complex, large scale enterprise applications
• Experience with agile software development methodologies and practices such as Scrum, Atlassian tools such as Jira/Confluence, building user stories
• Ability to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
• Adaptable to changes in product requirements, organizational structures and business conditions
• Learns and applies new technologies and techniques. Keeps up to date on current research and technology in the industry
• Recognizes the importance of collaboration to achieve objectives. Influences team members with creative changes and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem solving and adaptive communication

What You'll Bring:

• Technical Skills
• Experience in Core Java, React JS, data structures, basic algorithms, and applying object-oriented principles and design patterns. Knowledge of Spark, BigData and Python is preferable.
• Strong API design and development skills.
• Proficiency with development tools such as IntelliJ, Visual Studio, GitLab, BitBucket, Maven.
• Proficiency with relational databases (we use and PostgreSQL; other RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) experience is acceptable.)
• Strong understanding of architectural principles of software development, modelling, and security.
• Strong understanding of the deployment CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins.

Impact You'll Make:

• NA This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
