Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

What You'll Do

Lead and execute mechanical projects from concept to final product, with a strong focus on solid mechanics and mechanical design. You'll create detailed designs, perform calculations, run simulations, and validate your designs under various conditions. Ensuring that the designs are durable and meet performance requirements will be a key part of your role.

You are expected to have a passion for, and take responsibility for, the solutions developed. You'll act as an expert on the solutions you create, while also knowing when to bring in external expertise as needed. Your work will involve balancing multiple timelines, sometimes working in the prototype phase, and other times in the final stages. Requiring both quick, agile thinking and long-term, precise product development.

To be successful in this role , we are looking for you who…

• Have around 10 years of experience in mechanical design, CAD, and dynamic calculations, and is passionate about innovative product development.
• Possess a deep understanding of solid mechanics and the principles of structural design and can apply them effectively to solve real-world problems.
• Are familiar with CAD and CAE tools and can use these tools to design structures that incorporate beams, steel, and metal components.
• Think logically, are sharp, and can approach challenges with smart, creative solutions.
• Prefer working in a team, thrive on collaboration, and feel comfortable contributing in a group setting.
• Have experience working with consultants or external partners with expertise, enabling you to make informed decisions for product development and ensure the best outcomes throughout the process.
