Business Analyst

The Role:

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying business needs, and developing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, conducting data analysis, and providing recommendations to support business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements through meetings, interviews, and workshops with stakeholders, support product owner in defining, structuring and prioritising product backlog
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement with data and analytics.
• Define, document and agree the guiding principles based on which we define the target solution and agree them with the client
• Develop and propose solutions to address business needs and improve efficiency.
• Create detailed documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps and conceptual data models
• Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and provide insights into business performance, define source to target data mappings, understand the client’s data, understand how data is consumed based on that come up with a target data solution
• Define target data models up to logical level as part of proposed solutions
• Define and validate solution success criteria and integrate it within product backlog.
• Define and validate with the business test strategies and test cases.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure solutions align with business objectives and technical feasibility.
• Assist in the implementation of new processes and systems, including testing and user training.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make adjustments as needed.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

What we're looking for in our applicants:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

• Strong background in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.

• Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools, strong data modelling skills up to conceptual and logical levels, knowledge of key data modelling concepts including relational, dimensional data modelling, data vaults

• Experience with data products

• Basic understanding of financial principles related to budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.

• Ability to develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making.

• High level of proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.

• Strong knowledge of business process modeling and improvement methodologies.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

• Availability to do international business travel on a regular basis.
