Contract Deployment Analyst

Role Summary:

Primarily responsible for working directly with the Contract Deployment Manager and Strategic Account Manager on strategic account contracts. Insure that catalog information is entered in an accurate fashion in order to maintain the integrity of the Vendor Catalogs. Exceptional service to external and internal customers is critical to the success of a Contracts Deployment Analyst.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work closely with the Strategic Accounts Team in responding to Strategic Account RFQ’s and maintaining existing agreements with Strategic Accounts
• Assists in scrubbing data and preparing market baskets
• Assists with profitability reviews
• Performs price management activities in areas such as spend analysis, SPA utilization and works with vendors on pricing agreements and quotes
• Reviews accounts to ensure compliance
• Provides support to Service Centers on contract issues.
• Maintains accurate customer prices and catalogs.
• Assists with maintenance of Customer part numbers in Summit’s ERP system.
• Helps manage data associated with various VMI and consignment programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned and as necessary depending on the account needs.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have thorough understanding of excel. Candidate should have a good working knowledge of how to manipulate and sort data. Should be familiar with tools such as V-lookups and Pivot Tables
• Complete and thorough working knowledge of Summit SAP system.
• Strong Customer service orientation – both external and internal.
• Must be thorough and detail oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
• Unwavering commitment to Summit values and mission.
• Time Management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Flexibility – ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, hectic work environment.

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

• Product knowledge
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
• H.S. education or GED equivalent is strongly preferred

Physical Challenges:

• Consistent sitting for many hours at one time. Majority of day (85%+) is spent sitting at desk.
• Must be able to lift 5 pounds on a regular and consistent basis.
• Regular and consistent use of keyboard.
• Ability to climb stairs on occasion.
• Majority of job is located inside store, during regular store hours of operation. Additional challenges may arise, at which time; Summit may revise this job description
