Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Copper River Cyber Solutions is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team in support of a new contract at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This position will be performed remotely with the occasional need for an onsite meeting in the Washington D.C. area.

The ideal candidate is an Artificial Engineer who will drive AI-centric development in the research and development for security scenarios. This will require deeply technical innovation across FDA. You will design and implement effective artificial intelligence (AI) solution architecture utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the company's strategies and business goals. Apply advanced consulting or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective artificial intelligence (AI) solutions utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the company's strategies and business goals.
• Apply advanced consulting or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members, as needed**.**
• Required Qualifications:
  2+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, data or software engineering research, full stack development, or data analytics.
• Experience with software and/or artificial intelligence projects
• Experience with a programming language, including Python, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and/or Svelte or Java Experience with deep learning.
• Experience with deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or signal processing machine learning development
• Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design or edge computing
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• o OR equivalent experience.
• Experience in working with LLMs (Large Language Models) and OSS GenAI (agent-based) frameworks.
• Experience in SecDevOps and MLOps/AIOps Experience in shipping at least 1 large scale ML/AI-based services or applications preferably in the security domain on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.}

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with modern Cloud computing technologies, including Docker.
• Ability to gather requirements from customers and lead Agile teams.
• Masters/Doctorate degree in Computer Science or Statistics

Position Pay Range

$140,000 - $185,000 USD
